Georgia 2019

日本大使館の上原大使らの厚意で、首都トリビシの4か所で公演をさせていただました。公演中、テレビ局の取材も受けました。自由大学では、ジョージア出身の元関取、黒海が見にいらっしゃいました。また、ジョージア人で落語の勉強をしている20歳のケタさんも見に来てくれました。ケタさんは、日本のテレビ番組の取材で来日し、三遊亭円楽さんから「寿限無」の指導を受け、高座にもかけています。ツアー中、現地の児島康弘さんが、通訳者として私たちに同行してくれました。

With the kindness of Ambassador Uehara of the Japanese Embassy, we had performances in four locations in the capital, Tbilisi. During the performance, I was interviewed by a TV station. At Free University, a former Sekitori from Georgia, the Black Sea, came to see us. Also, Mr. Keta, a 20-year-old Georgian who is studying rakugo, came to see us. Mr. Keta came to Japan for coverage of a Japanese TV program, and under the guidance of "Jugemu" from Sanyutei Enraku, he is also in Takaza. During the tour, Mr. Yasuhiro Kojima, a local, accompanied us as an interpreter.
