Bamboo Mat Show called Tamasudare begins with the words "Look, look, look, look, look...". Although I had been interested in it for a long time, I could not take the first step, but through English rakugo, I began to attend Tamadare classes of the Shirato school, and a year later I was given a license of natori (master). Since then, I have had the opportunity to perform Tamasudare both in Japanese and English.
​ 　Unlike Kabuki and the tea ceremony, this traditional performing art is not well known to foreigners, but it makes me really happy when I am given favorable feedback from foreign audiences. In December 2020, I was certified as shihan (instructor), so I would like to spread this classical performing art to the world along with English rakugo.
